Blathering on and on in the third person about all of your own brilliant attributes can feel really creepy. So instead, here is a list of five things you should know about ME.
I’m the youngest of my siblings and the only girl. Thus I’m a bit scrappy and not afraid to jump in head-first. I was called a "tomboy" until about age 13, and then I got super girlie. But I can still throw a mean spiral.
I’m a teacher at heart. I have a Master’s degree in Education and owe most of my TV presenting skills to my first live audiences… all under the age of 12.
I became a blogger back in 2005 to find my writing voice and to have a creative outlet while staying home when my boys were little, never knowing it would be the catalyst to a complete career change.
I'm a local and national TV contributor appearing on The Meredith Vieira Show, The Steve Harvey Show, and as a regular contributor on The Today Show. My first book, "Well Played", will be released June 2016 for Harper Collins.
I don’t do “favorites” but if I did, I love Champagne, the woods, witty banter, girlfriends, the lake, fake eyelashes, smart writing, autumn, imperfection, yellow, bath time, boy hugs, Nashville, bare feet, football, down pillows, and the adrenaline of LIVE TV.
