Millie and Jones 2025 Review

Millie and Jones 2025 Review

Knowing where to find great beds is always challenging. There are so many brands out there that seem to be offering the world but then disappoint a year or two in.

The purpose of this review is to explore Millie and Jones, one of the most exciting brands in this space. This company focuses on providing beds for growing families, giving it really nice expertise in this niche.

The business is family-owned and run, which makes it feel quite boutique. However, it has a professional logistics operation behind the scenes, which is one of the main reasons why we’ve decided to go ahead and review it. This isn’t just a small workshop, but an operation that we feel is well worth exploring in more detail.

So, what did we think of Millie and Jones? Is it any good?

What We Liked

There were actually quite a few things that really stood out to us about Millie and Jones. As we explored the company deeper and checked out its beds, we discovered a lot of things that encouraged us to seriously consider recommending it.

Kid And Teen Bed Specialists

One of the things that we liked most about the brand was the fact that it is a kid and teen bed specialist. It knows everything about beds for people in this age group, including the best arrangements for small bedrooms, bunk beds, and how to design beds to be interesting for children.

Even more importantly, the retailer avoids generic furniture. All its products are chosen with growing families in mind, whether for toddler transitions all the way up to the point where kids are fully grown.

It emphasises “teen-ready” sleep spaces, which is something that we appreciated. You can see the effort the brand has put into ensuring that its products are suitable for this demographic.

Build By Families, For Families

Another perk is the fact that Millie and Jones is built by families, for families. Run by a husband and wife team, this ethos shines through everything the company does, including decisions about product selection.

The aim is to create beds for kids and teens that reflect real-life needs. When you start using the furniture, you’ll notice all sorts of little things that make life better, as we did during our testing. It’s these additions that make the brand special and explain why it has become so popular over the years. Parents are taken into account at every step.

Eco-Friendly Outlook

Then, of course, there is Millie and Jones’s eco-friendly outlook. The company plants five trees for every bed that it sells, meaning that customers know that they are always giving back to the environment whenever they make a purchase. Not many bed companies offer anything like this, which is another way Millie and Jones feels boutique.

So far, the company has planted more than 8,000 trees to date. That’s more than most patches of woodland in the UK.

Rated Excellent On Trustpilot

We were happy to see that Millie and Jones is already rated excellent on Trustpilot, despite being a relatively small brand. It’s clear that it has a loyal customer following, which confirms our experience when exploring and defining the brand. The company offers fast delivery and excellent support, meaning that you’re guided through every step of the process of getting new beds, which isn’t always available when going to smaller brands.

Human interaction is a key part of the process. Millie and Jones focus on that and provide it every step of the way, differentiating them from the larger brands that might not be as personal.

Smart Storage Solutions And Space-Savings

Lastly, Millie and Jones’ beds are highly practical. We liked the smart storage solutions integrated into many of the models that they sell. This means that you’re not constantly having to add more furniture to rooms. Instead, you can literally keep most of it as part of the bed.

The space-saving designs were also a godsend for us. We liked the fact that beds were compact enough to fit into most box rooms, making it possible to expand your family without having to necessarily move house or change location. This option is ideal in locations where space really matters a great deal.

What We Didn’t Like As Much

Of course, we didn’t like everything about Millie and Jones. There were some things that we’d like to see improved in the future.

One of the things that we’d like to see improved is assembly. The brand provides a lot of support with this, but because it is a bespoke boutique, its products are more complicated than many of the big box stores. Therefore, you’ll want to go into the process of actually building its products with that in mind.

Another minor issue has to do with colouration. Some customers have reported that the colours in the images on the website don’t match those in real life (which is a common issue among boutique vendors). While the shape might be there, the lighting actually changes the way colours are perceived in real bedrooms.

Related to this last issue is the fact that Millie and Jones lack real showrooms to check out beds in person and see if they are a match for kids’ bedrooms. It would be good to see the brand developing more showrooms to make it easier for customers to figure out what they’re getting. Being able to view and test products in advance of a sale would likely drive more conversions.

Final Verdict: Do We Recommend Millie And Jones

Millie and Jones is a brand set up explicitly for people looking for compact bedding for kids and teen bedrooms. And, we’re happy to say that it delivers on its promise. The boutique outlet is one of the best in the country for this, which is why it gets our seal of approval. If you’re looking for practical furniture solutions, then it is hard to think of other brands that out-do it.
